Shortbread cookies...

Shortbread cookies are my favorite cookie.

I have tried twice now to make them and my recipes are the wrong ones i suppose because they did not work at all.

So I suppose I will just have to stick with ones from the bakery because I cannot make them.
But they sure are a delicious christmas treat. This is the only time of year I eat them, otherwise it just seems wrong.

Feeling Grinchy...

I love the grinch, I love the movie the grinch who stole christmas (the original version). I am feeling pretty grinchy this christmas and I have no idea why.

I've put up the christmas tree, hung the stockings and wrapped a few presents and tucked them under the tree. I've made christmas cookies a few times which have all been eaten. Turned the christmas lights on outside, put up the plastic snowman and tree on the porch.

But I still feel grinchy.

Off my list...

Like a picture from a postcard. I actually took this picture. I took this picture right before I walked half away across the golden gate bridge. What a magnificant structure. The architecture, engineering and design of this bridge is what makes it that way.

I spent some time in San Francisco and explored the city. It is quite the city.

I can now cross it off my list of places I would like to visit.
