You've Been Tagged....

Came home to find this in my neighbors driveway today....

Their white suv was spray painted with a strip of red completely all the way around it and all over the rims and the license plate on the back.

So in case they read my blog I have googled spray paint removal from cars.

1.) dependent on the type of paint used, warm soapy water and a light rag can remove it.

2.) call a body shop and your insurance agent, the body shop may have methods to remove spray paint and if it doesnt work they may need to repaint all or part of the car.

3.) Other products you might try (please follow directions, do not apply these substances directly to the surface without diluting or following the direction of a specialist.) include: nail polish remover, acetone, Meguiars clay, rubbing compound, gasoline/petrol, brake part cleaner or spray.

So your best bet is probably to notify the police, insurance agency and find yourself a body shop to help safely remove the spray paint.

30...

So someone suggested I should blog about turning 30. I don't know what I should say. Perhaps turning 30 is suppose to make you wiser and people will start to listen to your opinions because your no longer in your twenties but really 30 doesn't feel much different than 29 did. Except now I can't say "I'm in my twenties." that phrase has been replaced with "I am in my thirties." YIKES!

I did not have a breakdown as my 30th birthday approached. I was not afraid of turning 30, I was indifferent to it really. I was excited because it's a milestone and with milestones come parties and cake...and it was a great party with a great cake that tasted delicious. I was glad to be surrounded by my closest friends and my family. That is all you can really ask for.

Starbucks just keeps getting bigger.

Introducing: Tall (354ml), Grande (473ml), Venti (591ml), and Trenta (916ml) the new starbucks drink to join the family.

The average stomache can hold approximately 500ml's of fluid. The new trenta coffee size at starbucks will be a startling 916ml's. That is bigger than what your stomache can hold. And starbucks just keeps coffee addicts coming back for more and helping feed the consumers like me (who love starbucks) the option to have a trenta size caramel frappaccino.
I can't believe they can make something bigger than the already quite big Venti (591ml) drink.
It will be interesting to see how popular this new trenta coffee will be.

Playing with acrylics....

Swirling acrylics....just for the fun of it. I think it turned out pretty good.
Guitar player....no he's not a cowboy.

Second guitar player. I hope to make a much larger scale of one of the two guitar players on canvas. These were done on paper and it was much harder to paint onto. Plus with this second one, I only had yellow paper, so he kind of blends into the background.
So I was just doodling with acrylics this evening and that's all I accomplished for the fun of it.

365 days

365 days...take a photo a day...I think I am a little ahead of myself on that venture but found that it is a very interesting experiment.
